The scenery of the farming village of Oi
The Oi area is home to a vast number of rice paddies and fields of Japanese summer oranges and onions, which have been meticulously cultivated for generations. The fruits and vegetables grown in the region are renowned throughout Yamaguchi Prefecture, and the area’s picturesque farmland scenery is a must-see.
Ooyagama Ceramics and its surroundings
Surrounded by mountains, Ooyagama Ceramics’ workshop, gallery, and main building are arranged to take advantage of the mountainous terrain. Their garden overlooks the town of Hagi, with beautiful stone walls and Ginkgo trees standing tall.
We recommend making a visit to their store as well, which was renovated just this spring.
