Three activities in one: pear picking, stone oven pizza and farmhouse visit
The day at our farm begins with a fun pear harvesting activity! You can try your hand at harvesting various kinds of pears grown right here on our farm. Once you’ve had your fill, you can taste and compare the different types, and use some of the pears to make pizza and bake it in our stone oven. After you’ve enjoyed the pizza and fresh air, we’ll head to our quaint farmhouse, where we look forward to having many fun conversations with you. We hope you will enjoy your time at our farm!

Yukinaga and Minae Yoshida | Yoshida Farm
Together, the married couple grows more than 20 varieties of pears and ships them out all the way through summer to winter. They look forward to welcoming you to their farm!
Schedule
- 10:30 am: Meet at the Hirayamadai Parking Lot
- 11:00 am to 12:00 pm: Pear harvesting activity
- 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm: Pear tasting and baking pizza
- 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm: Visit our farmhouse

Stroll through the pear orchards in Hirayamadai, the Tamagawa Area of Hagi, and listen to our story of the orchard and plateau while you pick your own pears to take home.
