Spend a leisurely stay in a quaint port town and reset with a digital detox

At Ryu-san’s House, a café and guesthouse in the quiet port town of Esaki in Hagi, we are offering a one-night, two-day experience limited to one group per day.

Step away from smartphones, computers, and other digital devices and reconnect with the world around you. Listen to the sound of the waves, breathe in the sea air, and enjoy a peaceful, unhurried time with your special someone.

This isn’t a trip for sightseeing. Instead, it’s a chance to slow down and simply enjoy the moment.

Treasures Found Here

An Old Japanese-Style House in Esaki (Ryu-san’s House)

Originally a lodging house for sailors during the Meiji period (1868–1912), this traditional house was renovated into Ryu-san’s café and guesthouse. While retaining the character of its former days, it offers a peaceful place to slow down and relax.

The Town Scenery of Esaki

Enjoy nostalgic scenery, the slow passage of time, and the scent of the sea.

A hexagonal temple that seems to float in the harbor, watching over the beautiful scenery of Esaki Bay.
