Discover traditional crafts under the guidance of a certified Hagi Yaki pottery craftsman!
Forget the stresses of everyday life and enjoy the feeling of soothing ceramic clay on your fingertips! In this private workshop for 1 to 6 participants, traditional Hagi Yaki craftsman Taikei Higuchi will guide you step by step in making your own piece—choose from a tumbler cup, teacup, sake cup, small plate, or rice bowl (additional fees apply).
The session lasts about 40 minutes per person. First, you’ll watch a demonstration by the craftsman, then try the process yourself with one-on-one support—enjoying the feeling of truly creating your own work.
Finishing touches will be completed by the craftsman (trimming, bisque firing, glazing, and glaze firing) and delivered to you in about 3 to 5 months.
