A mini journey following the tragic love legend of Rokkakudo

Take a gentle walk through the historic port town of Esaki while following the poignant love story handed down at Rokkakudo, a hexagonal hall within the grounds of Saidoji Temple, guided by storyteller Hiroka Shimoda. Visit the sites where the legend unfolds and take a quiet moment to reflect on your own feelings.

At the end of the walk, you’ll have the chance to write a love letter to someone dear—whether a partner, family member, or friend. The experience concludes at Ryu-san’s House, a cozy café that opened this year, where you can savor desserts and drinks inspired by the story while enjoying the lingering atmosphere.

This program is perfect for history enthusiasts, those wishing to reflect on their emotions, or anyone seeking a peaceful, contemplative experience.
