NPO Hagi Meirin Gakusha<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This tour is provided by a team of volunteers from a non-profit organization that manages and operates the Meirin Gakusha in cooperation with the local city government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope you enjoy your time at Hagi Meirin Gakusha, one of the largest wooden school buildings in Japan, built on the site of the Hagi Domain School Meirinkan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    The Hagi Domain School Meirinkan, a National Historic Site<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

    The Hagi Domain School Meirinkan was built in 1849 to educate the children of the retainers of the Mori Clan (Hagi Domain). The school grounds included a schoolhouse, a martial arts training facility, and space for military drills.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
