Join us on our sustainable cycling tour, focusing on sake brewing in Hagi and the region that supports it. Our local guides will take you through the beautiful rice fields of Hagi where the sake rice is grown, to the rice polishing factory where you can learn about the rice polishing process, and to the sake brewery itself, where the sake master will show you how they brew sake. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

  2. We will explain the details of the tour and how to use the E-bike.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The tour begins! We will visit five spots.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Sake rice fields<\/strong> & the different types of sake rice, as well as how it’s grown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. The rice polishing factory<\/strong>, where the secretary-general and factory manager will give us an exclusive tour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. The unique cat-themed Unrinji Temple<\/strong>, also known simply as the “Cat Temple.”<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. A local spring<\/strong> with beautiful, clear water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Yachiyo Brewery<\/strong>, where the master sake brewer will give us a tour. You can even take a sneaky peek into the koji room, and try the leftover sake brewing rice (sake lees) and the water used to brew sake.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Hagi City has the largest number of sake breweries in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Among them, Yachiyo Brewery is the oldest, having been established in the late 19th century.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    \u30fbThere is a bottle holder fixed on the e-bike, so you can attach your drink bottle for ease of access.
    \u30fbWe also have a small saddle pack that attaches to the e-bike to keep your valuables safe.
